A Frightening Experience-Draft Two

My fifteenth birthday is an unforgettable day in my life. On that day, my family and I got up at first light to map out the whole plan, because we would go to Taipei. All of us were tired, so we slept in our car, except for my father because he was the driver. First of all, we drove on the highway, I still slept. A few hours later, I woke up suddenly by a very loud noise; I didn’t know what happened, so I searched out of the car window. All at once I heard some penetrating sounds, and I saw a serious accident in front of us as well, those things happened within ten seconds. Many cars bumped one after one, and some people were seriously hurt in the accident. At the time, I was too scared to say any word, I was frightened to death. For a while, some squad cars and ambulances came to the scene to handle the incident. Fortunately, we were not involved in the horrible happening; nevertheless, it shocked us very much. Therefore, we went home with severe moods. I think that is the most frightening experience in my life.
