I Don’t Like Rainy Day-Draft One

There are some reasons why I don’t like rainy day. The most important one is that I have to wear a raincoat or take an umbrella before I go out, and it’s a completely troublesome thing for me. Otherwise, if it rains suddenly, I should go to buy a new raincoat. Then, even if I wear the raincoat, my pants and shoes have got wet as well. By the way, rain shoes are useless,too. Secondly, I will be in traffic jam everywhere, because more people drive cars in rainy day than usual, which will cause me late for school or some dates. Furthermore, when the cars go across the pools, the water may splash on some people or some riders, and they just drive away that will make me feel angrier. These are why I am always unhappy in rainy day.

My fifteenth birthday is an unforgettable day in my life. On that day, my family and I got up at first light to map out the whole plan, because we would go to Taipei. All of us were tired, so we slept in our car, except for my father because he was the driver. First of all, we drove on the highway, I still slept. A few hours later, I woke up suddenly by a very loud noise; I didn’t know what happened, so I searched out of the car window. All at once I heard some penetrating sounds, and I saw a serious accident in front of us as well, those things happened within ten seconds. For a while, some squad cars and ambulances came to the scene to handle the incident. Fortunately, we were not involved in the horrible happening; nevertheless, it shocked us very much. Therefore, we went home with severe moods. I think that is the most frightening experience in my life.

Growing up means making my own decisions. Because I am old enough, I should be independent. Furthermore, I can’t depend on adults any more. I can face the decisions which I made with responsibility. Therefore, I should begin to learn how to make my own decisions.

The hardest decision that I ever made was to choose which senior high school to study. After the first exam of the Basic Entrance Examination, I was very hesitant whether I should take part in the second Basic Entrance Examination or not. At last, I gave up participating the second exam, and then I chose the National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School. Now I think that I didn’t make a wrong decision.
